Hello Class,
I am proud of how today went. Together we went over a lot of learning material and I hope that if anyone has questions they continue to ask for support from their peers and teachers. We started the day off by having the grade 6s reflect on their camping trip to Claremont . Afterwards, both the grade 5s and 6s introduced patterning using manipulatives and pattern rules to solve problems. Later on, we listened to two songs by artist Mike Tompkins, and then discussed possible song choices for our upcoming spring concert. In the afternoon, the class reviewed social studies homework and practiced several grammar exercises (ie. nouns, pronouns and adjectives). Altogether, today was a fun filled day full of learning, and I want to encourage our grade 5 and 6s to continue their successful journey in learning by participating in all of what we do.
