Hi everyone,
We had a wonderful play today with such talented actors! I hope you were paying attention because we will have a discussion about it tomorrow.
For homework, you will only have the following: 2 stars and a wish for this week if you haven't done it already. With a signature as well! And get your test signed and brought back for tomorrow.
Have a great night and see you all tomorrow!

Monday is done!
Hi Everyone,
I hope that everyone had a nice, restful weekend and is ready to do some work! Today we had a pretty productive day (minus the chattiness). But altogether a great day. We started with math and covered the way we can correctly choose a unit that is appropriate for the measurement. Then we moved on and had our social studies test on the Government for the Grade 5s and Early Explorers for the Grade 6s. In the afternoon, we practiced more questioning after reading the short stories in our Nelson texts and we are slowly moving on to Extending understanding questions. Finally, we worked with our two stars and a wish and created some snow flakes.
For homework:
Math:
Gr5 - WB p. 41
Gr6 - WB p. 42
Have a great night and check out symbaloo if you have a chance.

Chatty, Chatty, Chatty!
Hi Everyone,
Did you have a look at the title? Does that sound like a great description of our class today? I think so. Let's ensure that we are more on the ball tomorrow.
Today, we had our math test on Chapter 1, learned about and practiced proceedural writing in the passive voice, and got our science tests back. No homework tonight, so use this time to study for our upcoming social studies class. I'm really happy about how excited you are to get good grades. Let's use the free time to ensure we get the grades we want.
Finally, don't forget to bring in a toy for our toy drive! See you tomorrow!

Coke + Teeth = Yucky!
Hi Class,
I’m very proud of the week that you have had and the effort that you have put in this week. Let’s continue this until the end of the year. But obviously, we’ll be getting better each day.
